Passu Peak 7284m Expedition

Day 01 Islamabad

You will be greeted by the Sunrise Adventure team at Islamabad International Airport, and then you and your luggage will be transferred to a centrally located hotel in Islamabad. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Day 02 Islamabad to Chilas:

Drive to Chilas on Karakorum highway en route, and we will stop at Shatial Rock Carving, then further drive to Chilas, arrive in Chilas, and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Chilas.

Day 03 Chilas to Gulmit Upper Hunza Valley

In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Gulmit Upper Hunza Valley for sightseeing. En route, we will stop at the junction point of the three most incredible mountain ranges, where they meet at the same then we will have a lunch break at Rakaposhi View Point, further drive to Gulmit Upper Hunza Valley, arrive in Gulmit, and check in at hotel. Overnight stay in Gulmit Upper Hunza Valley.

Day 04 Gulmit to Borith Lake and Passu Ghar 

In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Upper Borith and trek up to Passu Ghar. Overnight Camping at Passu Ghar.

Day 05 Passu Ghar to Luzdhar 

We continue the trek to Lazhdar. Before approaching Lazhdar, we have to cross the Passu white Glacier. The whole hike is 3 – 4 hours. Lazhdar is an unused pasture at 3400 m—overnight camping at Luzdhar.

Day 06 Luzdhar to Patundass 

This is a climb gaining 800 m altitude to Pantandas Pasture on the top of the ridge between Passu and Batura glaciers. This trek takes you to the fascinating area of Upper Hunza, the highlight being Patundas Meadows 4,575 meters, a vantage point that offers views of an ocean of peaks; Passu group 7284 to 7500 m, Batura group 7,500 to 7,785 m, Shispar 7611m, Dastagil Sar 7895, Mohmil Sar 7,342 m, Rakaposhi 7,790 m and many more. Spend the rest of the day feasting your eyes on the ocean of peaks and awe-inspiring views of this enchanted land of Hunza—overnight Camping at Patundass Meadows.

Day 07 Patundass to Passu Peak base camp 

Trek from Patundass Meadows to Passu Peak base camp. Overnight Camping at Passu Peak base camp.

Day 08 – 28 Climbing days

Climbing days at Passu Peak base camp while climbing the Passu Peak.

Day 29 Passu Peak base camp to Luzdhar 

After breakfast, we will trek back to Luzdhar from Passu Peak base camp—overnight Camping at Luzdhar.

Day 30 Luzdhar to Borith Lake

After breakfast, we will trek to Borith Lake via Passu white Glacier—overnight Camping at Borith Lake.

Day 31 Borith Lake to Gulmit Upper Hunza Valley

In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Gulmit. Arrive in Gulmit and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Gulmit Upper Hunza Valley.

Day 32 Gulmit to Gilgit

In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Gilgit. En route, we will stop for photography and then move to Gilgit. We will visit the bazaar to familiarize ourselves with the customs of Gilgit. A stop at the cooperative store, where the Chinese goods are bought on the barter system, will allow us to glance at Chinese treasure. We will then take a hair-raising drive across Asia’s longest suspension bridge, 600 feet long and wide enough for only one car at a time. Arrival in Gilgit, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Gilgit.

Day 33 Gilgit to Besham

Early in the morning, after breakfast departure for Besham en route, we will stop at Nanga Parbat view and a further short stop at the junction point of the three most fantastic mountain ranges where they meet at one point. We will have lunch and a toilet break en route to arrival in Besham and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Besham.

Day 34 Besham to Islamabad

In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Islamabad. We will visit the Taxila Museum and then move to Islamabad. Arrive in Islamabad after lunch. We will visit Faisal Mosque, Lok Versa, Saidpur Village, Daman Koh, and Raja Bazar after the farewell dinner party, and then we will drop you at the airport to catch the flight back home.
